2025 Ride Results.docx

As we wrap up 2025, we want to extend a huge thank you to our riders, volunteers, horses, and supporters for another incredible year. The miles you put on your horses, the care you show your equines, and the sportsmanship you bring to every ride are what make this club so special.

Our TRAC Year-End Banquet was a huge success—thank you to everyone who joined us and was willing to try something a little different! We’re so grateful for the donations to the auction, the amazing food, and the wonderful sense of community in the room.
A heartfelt thank you to our Board Members for the countless hours spent organizing, hosting, presenting, and supporting the banquet, AGM, and behind-the-scenes work all year long. Your dedication is what keeps our club running and moving forward.

A special shout-out to:
• Ken at Firewood Creations for our beautiful “trophy” water bottles
• NES Fircroft & Kyleigh for their generous raffle donations
• Kevin at Kemo Construction for breakfast treats and non-alcoholic beverages
• Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre for the beautiful banquet space
Our AGM was well attended, and all motions passed with the shared goal of continuing to improve our sport—keeping equines safe, ensuring fair placing, and supporting riders at every level. The discussion and excitement around growing the club, recruiting new members, and making intro distances accessible was truly energizing.
Looking ahead to 2026, we have:
• An Intro Clinic coming up
• 5 CTRs already on the calendar (with potentially more!)
• And a reminder to keep the 3rd weekend in September open—Border Coulee is typically held then, and we’re working on confirming details

The days are getting longer, and we can’t wait to see familiar faces back in the saddle—and welcome new riders to try our sport. Here’s to another great year ahead.
Happy trails for 2026!
