Join the many Albertans already enjoying the growing sport of competitive trail riding. A great sport for the entire family, using the horses and tack you already have, covering new and different trails around the province, and meeting people who share your love of going the distance!
As a TRAC member, you will receive a subscription to Horses All, where the TRAC newsletter is published monthly. You will receive the TRAC handbook and the TRAC secretary will keep you up to date on clinics, meetings, etc. Information from each ride throughout the province will be sent to you by the hosting clubs.
As well, all mileage from sanctioned competitive rides will be accumulated and awards for both horse and rider are given in increments of 250 miles for riders and 500 miles for horses. Several TRAC members (and horses) have reached totals of 2000, 3000, and even 5000 miles!
Year end provincial awards are given annually for points earned in all divisions of TRAC rides and awarded at the TRAC Annual Awards Banquet and General Meeting held each November.
